I am an Animal Healer, specializing in massage and energy work to help our animal companions regain and maintain balance and health. I have always felt a special connection to animals; however, it wasn’t until a little blue chihuahua, named Lucky came along, that my life changed. Lucky was just six years old in 2001 when he was diagnosed with lymphosarcoma. Lucky’s prognosis was three months or less with chemotherapy and my heart just broke. I decided to explore holistic services for my Lucky instead of committing to chemotherapy treatments. I began my education by spending hours researching non-traditional cancer treatments for dogs. Through diet changes, herbs and supplements, energy work and a lot of prayer, I was able to enjoy ten additional months with Lucky before he crossed over.
In the 10 years since opening Luckie Dog Wellness in 2004, I have worked with hundreds of dogs providing support and extending their lives while bringing peace of mind to their owners.
In 2009 I developed the Animal Medical Intuitive Program which I teach to other animal practitioners. I continue to research new and cutting edge methods which I incorporate into my practice including canine nutrition, aroma therapy, animal communication, reflexology and acupressure.
I hold a master’s degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh and am a nationally certified rehabilitation counselor and vocational evaluator. For 30 years I have helped individuals with disabilities develop their potential and now I help dogs with health issues experience the best quality of life possible.
It is truly through our relationships with animals that we learn about unconditional love. I live in Baltimore with my beloved animal companions.
